Men of Success at Beaufort County Community College is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and leadership among male students. Through mentorship and role modeling, participants build meaningful relationships that support student success and empower individuals to overcome challenges.

Our program emphasizes the importance of academic achievement, social responsibility, emotional well-being, and cultural awareness in both educational and personal development. We equip students with the essential skills needed to become productive, engaged members of their communities.

Serving as a mentor in Men of Success means actively listening, offering guidance, and sharing experiences that align with a mentee’s goals. These relationships create opportunities for mutual learning and growth, reinforcing the importance of perseverance, accountability, and community support.

Our State Goal

North Carolina Community College Minority Male Mentoring Programs are designed to support the educational and professional aspirations of minority males in the Community College System. The program seeks to increase the completion of developmental courses, retention, and graduation rates.

Who Is Included?
